Patricia Ann Holland Dayton

Patricia Ann Holland Dayton, 85, of Colonial Heights, Virginia, passed away on December 9, 2024. Born in Virginia on June 23, 1939, she was the daughter of the late George E. Holland and Fannie Drewry Holland. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Robert “Bob” Dayton; daughter, Cindy Cheek; sisters, Deloise T. Holland Atkins, and Shirley Skelton; and her ex-husband, Ralph Cheek.

She is survived by her sons, Kenneth Cheek and wife, Angela, Jeffrey Cheek and wife, Regina, and Keith Dayton and wife, Randi; nieces, Dottie Mae Atkins and her husband, Jeffrey, and Brenda Skelton; nephews, Pete and Ricky Skelton; grandchildren, David Cheek, Ashton Cheek, Chris James, Kevin Cheek, and Dustin Cheek; great-granddaughter, Carmen Garcia; great-grandsons, Keegan Cheek, Kaynon Cheek, and Leland Cheek; and other extended family members.

Patricia worked at Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed line dancing with Boot Scooters dancing.

A graveside service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2025, in Blandford Cemetery, 319 S Crater Road, Petersburg, Virginia 23803.
