Pat Anne Nolan Nunnally, 70, of Chesterfield, VA, passed away peacefully at home on September 3, 2026. She was reunited in death with her parents, John and Mabel Nolan, and her sister, Angela Nolan Collins.

Born in Maryland on March 12, 1956, Pat traveled with her military family and lived in Hawaii and Germany. Pat loved working in her garden and was a devoted mother and volunteer at Ettrick Elementary, where she advocated for all students to have access to resources such as new playground equipment, yearbooks, and transportation. She also spent many hours volunteering in the classroom, from tutoring students to helping organize classroom parties and school events.

Pat possessed a natural gift for connection, which made her an incredibly gifted salesperson at Zales, where she became manager and was honored with awards and widely celebrated for her contributions.

Pat is survived by her devoted husband, James Hunter Nunnally Jr., and will be greatly missed by her two daughters, Candice and Lindsay Nunnally; her two grandchildren, Ella and Luna; her goddaughter, Alyssa; and three sisters, Marsha Nolan Smith, Ginger Nolan LaBrake and her husband Bobby, and Veronica Nolan Adkins and her husband Keith, along with many loving nieces, nephews, and their children.

Pat will forever be remembered for her vibrant, outgoing personality and her passionate advocacy for others. Her family was her world, and she will be remembered as a deeply devoted wife, mother, sister, and aunt, along with being the most loving, doting grandmother imaginable.

A memorial service to celebrate Pat’s life will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA. 23834.
