Phyllis Fockler

Phyllis Ann Hogue Fockler, 92, of Colonial Heights, Virginia, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. Born on April 13, 1930, in Petersburg, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Robert R. Hogue and Mildred Anne Moody Reiter. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack Edwin Davis Fockler, Sr. and her infant son, Robert Francis Fockler.

Phyllis was a life-long resident of Petersburg and Colonial Heights. She adored her family and friends and will be missed immensely by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Lari S. Woyansky and husband, John, Jack E. Fockler, Jr. and wife, Cheryl, and Molly L. Wolcott; her grandchildren, John E. Woyansky, Andrew M. Woyansky and wife, Rachel, Matthew T. Woyansky and wife, Onek, A. Blake Fockler and wife, Carrie, Austin L. Fockler and fiancé, Hannah Verrette, Holden D. Fockler, Adam G. Wolcott, Tyler D. Wolcott and wife, Alyssa, Danielle M. Wolcott, and Emily A. Wolcott; great-grandchildren, Jonah E. Woyansky, Cassidy M. Woyansky, Ethan M. Woyansky, Cole M. Woyansky, Carly M. Fockler, Corbin B. Fockler, Madison E. Woyansky, Greyson M. Woyansky, and Macey A. Woyansky; her sister, Suzann Reiter O’Rourke; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank James River Home Health and James River Hospice for their exceptional care given to Mrs. Phyllis.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2023, in Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Road S. Prince George, Virginia 23805. The family will receive friends from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. on Friday, March 10, 2023, at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory 2033 Boulevard Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834.
