Raymond Jackson

Raymond Louis Jackson, 89, of Colonial Heights, VA went home to the Lord on November 8, 2025. He was a member of Colonial Heights Baptist Church. He was the late son of Julius Manfield Jackson and Annie Ruth Mumford. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara B, Jackson and son Raymond L. Jackson Jr.; grandson Jesse Paul Welch; brothers Claiborne and James Jackson, Robert Jackson (Hard Rock), David Jackson (Cat Bird) and Sisters Catherine Eve, Francis Bell, Betty Ane Wade, Emily White and Doris Thompson.

He is survived by his daughter, Deborah Jackson Welch (Archie); granddaughters, Kaitlynn B. Welch, Trica Jackson; grandsons, Raymond L Jackson III (April Chaney); great grandson, Raymond L Jackson IV (RJ); sister, Sue Greene and numerous nieces and nephews.

For many years Raymond worked at Brown and Williams as a fixer for many years and later he worked at Rug Doctor in Chester.

A special thank-you goes to his caregivers, Iris Wilson, Shenitra Hall, and Cherisse Ridley, for their compassionate care and support. Raymond will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love.
