Reginald A. Booth, Jr., 76, of Hopewell, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024. He was the beloved son of the late Thelma Fulcher and Reginald A. Booth, Sr., and was preceded in death by his sister, Maryanne Drake.
Reginald had a lifelong love for the outdoors, where he found his peace. Whether casting his line across still waters or wandering in nature, he embraced the simple joys that the natural world offered.
A devoted animal lover, Reginald treated all creatures with kindness and respect. His gentle spirit extended to pets and wildlife alike. He was also an avid football fan, cheering for the Washington Redskins—now the Washington Commanders—through every season, good or bad. Game days were sacred to him, filled with enthusiastic support for his team.
He is survived by his son, Christopher Booth, and wife, Michelle Greathouse; his grandson, Samson Booth; his sister, Joan Elliott; and four nephews, Mike Elliott, Steve Elliott, Bill Elliott, and Kevin Elliott.
Interment will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your local SPCA, honoring Reginald's love for animals. Online condolences can be shared at www.ealvinsmall.com.
