Robert Earl Balducci Sr.

Robert Earl Balducci Sr., 90, of Colonial Heights, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 19, 2023. Born in Richmond, Virginia, on June 2, 1932, he was the son of the late Ugo and Inez Gunn Balducci. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Geraldine Balducci.

Robert served in the United States Army as Private First Class and was honorably discharged in 1962. He then went to work as a sheet metal mechanic for Tri-City Plumbing & Heating, retiring after many years. He was a long-time member of St. Ann Catholic Church, a member of the American Legion Post #284, and a member of the Italian Club.

He is survived by his loving children, Mary Lou Middleton of Colonial Heights, and Robert E. Balducci, Jr. and wife, Wanda of Chesterfield; nine grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 25, 2023 at St. Ann Catholic Church, 17111 Route 1. S. Chesterfield, Virginia 23834. Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery, 1400 S Randolph Street Richmond, Virginia 23220. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the church.
