Robert Johnson

Robert “Bob” Johnson, 94, of South Chesterfield, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022. He was born on December 25, 1927 in North Carolina to the late David and Lillie Johnson. Mr. Johnson attended Ettrick Fellowship Baptist Church and was a retired Supervisor for Georgia Pacific. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy “Dot” Johnson; and sons, Adam Johnson and Danny Crowder. He is survived by his children, April Clark (John), Beverly Emory (Jimmy), Barbara Watson, Ann Marsee (Richard), and Robbie Crowder (Traci); grandchildren, Bridget, Crystal (Mark), David, Vickie (Ray), Patsy (Bobby), Steven (Niki), Andreanna (Erik), and Laura (Ben); 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and nieces, Diann (Wib), Pauline, Mae (George), Louise (Donnie), Nona (John), Jane (Barry), and Belinda (Kenny). A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, January 24, 2022 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with Chaplain Ed Kross officiating. The family will receive guests at the funeral home beginning at 12 noon, one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at East Matoaca Cemetery.
