Ronald Hopkins

Ronald E. Hopkins, 73, of Henrico, passed away from this life, on Saturday, February 26, 2022.  Ronald was born in Gary, Indiana on December 1, 1948, to the late Charles E. and Addye Mae Hopkins. Ronald served in the United States Air force and was a Vietnam Vet. He retired as the pastor of First Christian Church of Petersburg, VA. He was a member of Seventh Street Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) of Richmond.   Ronald is survived by his devoted wife Judith Ann and daughters Charyl aka Wittney (Raymon), Ronica and Karyn (Timothy), one brother Charles L. Hopkins, four grandsons Tyler, Chase, Hunter and Landon, as well as his uncle Shelby Malone and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to both his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his brother Kevin L. Hopkins.  He will certainly be missed by all who knew and loved him. A celebration of life service will be held 12:00 noon on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at the Union Presbyterian Seminary, 3401 Brook Road, Richmond, Virginia, 23227.  Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Colonial Heights Chapel of E.
