Scott "Spyder" Rowland

Scott “Spyder” Rowland, 55, of Chester, Virginia, lost his courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, August 11, 2022. He was born on January 21, 1967, in Petersburg, Virginia.

Scott loved life; specifically enjoying music, dancing, and gun restoration. He loved the outdoors and going kayaking and fishing. Scott was also an artist who loved to draw and woodwork. He was known as a prankster, always joking, and making everyone laugh. He worked for many years as a dedicated roofer.

He survived by his son, Kenneth Rowland (Samantha); his granddaughters, Josie and Addie; his mother, Nita Weeks; brother, Mark Rowland; sister, Bonita Abernathy (Mike); very special friend, Bruce Faulkner; and many other extended family members and close friends.

A memorial visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 19, 2022, at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E.
