Tammy Holt Barry

Tammy Jo Ann Holt Barry, 49, of South Chesterfield, Virginia, passed away in Richmond, Virginia at VCU Health Hospital on Friday, July 22, 2022. Tammy was born in Richmond, Virginia on June 21, 1973. She attended St. Vincent de Paul High School and Virginia Tech University.

Tammy worked as a Client In-Take worker with Chesterfield County Mental Health. She was an animal lover who rescued cats and loved flower gardening as well as participating in crafts. Tammy was a proud member of a scrap booking club.

Tammy is survived by her life partner, Ian Smith; parents, Mary and Raymond Holt; sister, Kimberly Goodman and niece, Rylie-Ann Estabrooks; sister, Kathleen Cain and nieces, Maya and Hailey Cain; and her brother, Michael Holt. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Ethel and Joseph Hotz and Patricia Hotz Paschal, Thelma Rockwell and Jane Jordan. She was loved dearly by all.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834. Directly following the celebration of life, the family will be holding a small reception at 4209 Hidden Valley Road Chester, Virginia 23831 – all are welcome to attend. Interment will be private.
