Teresa Ingram

Teresa “Terri” Ann Ingram of Colonial Heights, Virginia passed away on October 30, 2021in Petersburg, Virginia surrounded by loved ones.

Born in Hopewell, Virginia on April 25, 1959, Terri was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and grandmother. The simplest pleasures in life brought joy to Terri. She loved visiting the beach and spending time with family and friends. Her battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed her courage in facing life challenges with a smile. She was preceded in death by her father, Levern Joyner and her son, John T. Ingram.

Terri is survived by her loving husband John Ingram; daughter, Tara Clark and husband Bobby and their three daughters, Brooklyn, Emma, and Rylee; daughter-in-law Katie Ingram and her daughter Jessa Ingram; step daughter, Augusta Ackerman and her two daughters, Breannah Johnson and Molly Ackerman; mother, Doris Joyner; siblings, David Joyner, Donna Tucker and husband Scott Tucker, Todd Joyner and wife, Kristal Joyner; step-mother, Jean Joyner; step-sisters, Julie Layne and Karen Vanworth; step-brother, Jay Trebisacci; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 3 at E. Alvin Small Funeral Home and Crematory 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 at 1:00 pm with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm.
