Thomas Edward Strum

Thomas Edward Strum, 75, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Tuesday January 21, 2025. He was born December 21, 1949, to the late James Samuel and Annie Lange Strum and was preceded in death by his wife Mary Power Strum. Mr. Strum retired after 49 years of services as a Communications Technical Support Technician for Verizon. He is survived by son, David Thomas Strum (Carrie); daughter, Kimberly Ann Nichols (Jared); three grandchildren, Jacob Nichols, Abigail Strum and James Nichols; siblings, William Strum, Phyllis Veal and Lawrence Strum (Margie); and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Petersburg.
