Vello Laidla

Vello Laidla, 86, of Colonial Heights, VA passed away on Thursday July 31st, 2025. He took pride in serving as a doorman in New York City. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, and the Colonial Heights Senior Center.

Vello is survived by his son, Robert Laidla, nephew, Peter Karo, niece, Kim Laidla, numerous nieces and nephews, and numerous friends, John Gray, Libby Gatewood, and Donna Davis.

Arrangements are being handled by the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard Colonial Heights, Virginia, 23834.
