William Albert Robertson, 79, of Colonial Heights passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2026. Born May 24, 1947, he was the son of the late Claiborne Albert and Ruth Marie Robertson, and was also preceded in death by his son, Terry Ray Robertson.

William spent his career as an electrician and maintenance engineer, ultimately retiring from Alcoa Metals. He was a member of Gregory Memorial Presbyterian Church in Prince George. He also valued the camaraderie and fellowship he found alongside his peers as a member of American Legion Post 284.

He is survived by his daughter, Kris Robertson Mueller and husband, Michael; grandchildren, Michael Mueller II, Tiffany Mueller and husband, Brandon Carter, Matthew Mueller, Jessica Mueller, Aulora Mueller; and longtime friend, Shirley Macneill.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2026 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Entombment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service on Thursday from 11:00 – 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
