Billy Dick

Billy Ray Dick (Bill), 73, of Colonial Heights, passed away September 12, 2021. He was born on May 16, 1948 in Pulaski County, Kentucky to the late James Ambrose and Mary Henson Dick and was preceded in death by his brother, Garnett Russell Dick. He was a United States Army Veteran having served in Vietnam and was a retired proprietor for SSC Distributors. He was also a member of Swift Creek Baptist Church, Colonial Heights. Mr. Dick is survived by his wife, Peggy Dick; daughters, Rebecca Jewell McDaniel (Mark) of Chester and Jennifer Suzanne Dick of Colonial Heights; grandchildren, Caitlin Danielle Henard, Jordan Michelle McDaniel, Conner William McDaniel, and Lindsey Kathleen McDaniel; great-granddaughter, Payton Raine Rush McDaniel; siblings, Philip Dick (Sara) of Georgia, Terry Dick of Kentucky, and Regina Gross of Georgia; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 16, 2021, Swift Creek Baptist Church, 18510 Branders Bridge Road, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with Rev. Dr. Steve Felker officiating. Interment will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia, 10300 Pridesville Road, Amelia Court House, Virginia 23002.  The family will receive guests from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Swift Creek Baptist Church.
