Carson Bosher

Carson Gary Bosher, 83, of Chester, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021.  He was born in Chester, Virginia and was the son of the late; John Henry and Grace Martin Bosher.  Mr. Bosher was preceded in death by his grandson, Shawn Futrell; four brothers, Marshall Douglas Bosher, Maynard Langford Bosher Sr., Louis Clifford Bosher, and Bernard Owen Bosher; and one sister, Grace Bosher Poulston. Mr. Bosher was a longtime member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Swift Creek Ward in Colonial Heights, and was a retired Chesterfield County Police Officer.  He is survived by his two daughters, Julie Elizabeth Bosher and Cathy Susanne Bosher; three grandchildren, Derek Austin Jones, Austin Shane Bosher, and Alyssa Marie Godwin; one brother, Johnny Farrell Bosher; one sister, Cecil May Vaughan; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at Sunset Memorial Park, 2901 West Hundred Road, Chester, Virginia 23831.  Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Colonial Heights Chapel of E.
