Charlotte Hanson

Charlotte P. Hanson, 93, of North Dinwiddie passed away Saturday January 25, 2020.  She was born July 10, 1926 to the late Josef and Anna Pesendorfer.  Charlotte was also preceded in death by her husband, James Byron Hanson and son, Herbert Bruce.  She is survived by two sons, Robert W. Hanson (Connee) and John L. Hanson (Michelle); four daughters, Evelyn H. Palco (Eric), Cyndi H. Mayton (Jeff), Andrea H. Stuz (Pierre), and Marcia H. Cox; and many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Charlotte was a long-time member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Petersburg, where she also volunteered at the school.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Home, 2033 Boulevard.  A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Road, S.
