Donald White, Sr.

Donald “Don” Louis White, Sr. “Pop”, 81 of Disputanta, went to be with his Lord, Friday June 12, 2020.  He was born July 5, 1938 to the late Robert and Carrie Mae White.  Don was also preceded in death by daughter-in-law, Tracy White and grandson, Tommy White.  He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lois Hawkes White; three children, Janis Reith, Joyce Bonner, and Donnie White, Jr; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.  Don retired from Virginia Power after over 25 years.  He was a member of several hunt clubs including, Tri City, Fort Powhatan, Ole Hickory, and Colonial.  Don was a deacon as Oakland Baptist in Prince George.  The family would like to express gratitude to Crater Community Hospice for their tender love and care during this time.  A celebration of Don’s life will be held 3:30 p.m. Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Oakland Baptist Church, 12601 Prince George Drive, Disputanta.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the church.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Crater Community Hospice or Oakland Baptist Church in Don’s memory.  Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
