Frances Riggs

Frances Hazel Riggs, 91, of Colonial Heights passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021. She was born on February 23, 1929 to the late William Oliver Stokes and Nancy Linton Kramer. She was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Carr Riggs. Mrs. Riggs is survived by her sons, Richard L. Riggs and Keith Riggs (Debra Priest Riggs); grandchildren, Robert Riggs (Jenny Riggs), Sharon Miller (Brandon Miller), Beth Riggs, and Brooke Riggs; great-grandchildren, Zachary Miller, Baylee Miller, Rachel Riggs, Joshua Riggs, and Adelynn Riggs; brothers, Barney and Ralph Stokes; sister, Joye Chamness; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 13 at Southlawn Memorial Park, 1901 Birdsong Road, S. Prince George, Virginia 23805 with Rev. Dr. Joey Anthony officiating.
