Jesse Yeattes Jr.

On May 30, 2021, Jesse Thomas Yeattes, Jr., 64, transitioned peacefully in his sleep from this life to his heavenly home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus.  Mr. Yeattes was born February 17, 1957, the son of the late Jesse Thomas Yeattes, Sr. and Nancy Moss Yeattes of Disputanta, and was raised in Newport News, Virginia.  Mr. Yeattes attended Rock Church of Petersburg.

During his early years he owned and drove his own Semi-Truck. He worked for United Moving Company and Prime, Inc. as a contract Driver.  He later moved to Disputanta to take care of his mother who was living alone after the death of her husband.

He is survived by his sons, Scott Thomas Yeattes of Hopewell, William Brett Yeattes of Billingham, Washington and Harrison Yeattes of Boise, Idaho; a sister, Kathy Yeattes Martin and husband, Greg of South Chesterfield.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 26, 2021, at Rock Church of Petersburg, 2301 County Drive, Petersburg, Virginia 23803, with the Reverend William F. Smalt officiating.
