John Davis

John Edward Davis, 73, died February 1st, 2021 surrounded by family.  He was born to Elizabeth Hartle Davis and John Baptist Davis on September 22nd, 1947. He had three siblings Elizabeth Jane Wiseman, William Francis Davis, and Pamela Ann Woolridge.

John graduated from Colonial Heights High School in 1966 going on to finish his master's degree in Mathematical Engineering at Virginia State University in 1972.  He married Sharon Lewis Davis in December of 1966, they had two children John E. Davis II and Shannon Davis Pitts.  He has six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

John appreciated the simple things in life. He loved hunting, fishing, and anything that put a smile on his family's face.  He enjoyed spending time with his family at the beach and loving everyone unconditionally and that is how he chose to live his life. God bless his soul he will be missed and loved for having the kindest heart.

Services will be held at Colonial Heights Community Center on February 21st, 2021 5PM.
