Lewis Brown

Lewis Brown, 40, of Colonial Heights, passed away July 7, 2021. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Toone. Music was one of the most important parts of Lewis’ life and he played in many bands including, D7, 2 Stoners and a Jai, What Price Victory, Randy Savages, Captain Brownstain, and ShangriLa. He will be missed by everyone who loved him and is survived by his parents, Peggy and Lincoln; grandparents, Carol, Hugh, and Libby; daughters, Julia, Victoria, and Eliza; siblings, Lincoln, Sarah, Becca, Nathan, and Samantha; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family would like to acknowledge Iva Jeske and Patrick Wilmer who helped care for Lewis in his final months.  A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 16, 2021 at Destiny Church, 11930 Old Stage Road, Chester, Virginia 23836. The family will receive guests at the church from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., prior to the service. Interment will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park, S. Prince George.
