Mary Elizabeth Tomney, 87, of Prince George passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Anthony Tomney; and her two brothers and two sisters. She was private duty CNA.

She is survived by her two daughters, Katherine Lynn Belvin and husband, James Belvin of Prince George and Rebecca Sue Harris and Staton Harris, six grandchildren, Angel M. Coleman, Crystal D. Riguelme, Mindy N. Denton, Savannah H. Ross, Courtney E. Tuck and Cassie L. Harris; 10 great-grandchildren, Taylor L. Keffer, Kaden M. Coleman, Harley M. Denton, Lola E. Denton, Sully L. Denton, Madlyn G. Ross, Sadie O. Ross, Christopher P. Johnson, Easton M. Tuck and Waylon J. Tuck.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 6, 2021 at the Crater Road Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road, Petersburg, Virginia 23805. Her remains will rest from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.  Interment will be private.  Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
