Obituary

Phyllis Grotz Shanahan, 66 of Colonial Heights passed away, Friday, April 2, 2021.  She was born August 3, 1954 to the late Clifford and Mary Grotz. Phyllis was also preceded in death by her husband, John E. Shanahan and her sister, Toni Cook. She is survived by her son, Wyatt Walker and her niece, Katie Cook. Phyllis was a lifetime teacher who influenced and changed many people’s lives through her caring nature.  A memorial visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thursday, April 8, 2021 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E.
