Randolph "Randy" Nicely

Randolph “Randy” James Nicely, 38, of N. Dinwiddie passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022. Born September 8, 1983, he is the son of Troy and Rose Nicely, and was preceded in death by his brother, Tim Nicely; and maternal grandparents, Margaret and Farrell Skeeters.

Randy started his career as a diesel mechanic when he was 18 years old, working for various companies, and was currently a supervisor for Titan America. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and ATVs.

He is survived by his loving parents, Troy and Rose Nicely; brother, Nathan Nicely and wife, Leah; girlfriend, Melissa Bankert; paternal grandparents, Garland Randolph and Darlene Nicely; cherished four-legged companion, Ellie; other extended family members and many beloved friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 21, 2022 at the Crater Road Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road, Petersburg, Virginia 23805. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at the funeral home.
