Raymond Grant

Raymond W. Grant, 84, of Prince George, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2020.  Born in Lenoir, North Carolina, on September 8, 1935, he was the son of the late George G. Grant and Indiana Moore Langley, and was preceded in death by a son, Gary Wesley Grant.  Mr. Grant was a member of the Joy Fellowship Church in Hopewell and was retired from Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company.

He is survived by his wife, Betty T. Grant; his children, Tammy Grant, Jeffrey Grant, and Carol Knowles (Mark); grandchildren, Heather Hall, Holly Grant Smith, Gary Wesley Grant Jr., Crystal Grant, Samantha Grant, Amanda Conner, Andrew Gunn, Aaron Gunn, Austin Knowles, and Alexander Knowles; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Russell Grant (Irene) and Robert Grant (Mary); and numerous nieces & nephews.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thursday, July 9, 2020 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 10, 2020 in Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Road, S.
