Shirley Goodwyn

Shirley B. Goodwyn, 67, of Stony Creek, died Friday, May 7, 2021 at her residence.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Alice Blaha, and her husband, James S. “Jimmie” Goodwyn. Mrs. Goodwyn is survived by her two sons, James B. Goodwyn and his wife, Sarah of Stony Creek and Franklin G. Goodwyn and his wife, Kim of Henrico; grandchildren, Griffin James, Reagan Louise, Landon Charles, Autumn Grace and James Easton; brother, Charles Blaha and wife, Gail of Colonial Heights; nieces, Amy Everett, Michelle Goodwyn and Ashley Goodwyn and nephews, Daniel Eggleston and Darrell Eggleston. She enjoyed gardening, watching birds, baking, planting flowers, and most of all spending time with her family and grandchildren. A graveside service will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 15, 2021 in Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Road, S. Prince George, Virginia 23805 with the Rev. J. Randy Myers officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Dinwiddie County Fire and EMS, P.O. Drawer 7014010, Boydton Plank Road, Dinwiddie, Virginia. 23841.
