Terry Shipe

Terry “Granddaddy” Craig Shipe, of South Chesterfield, passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 peacefully and surrounded by loved ones. He was born on September 23, 1946 to the late Glenville “Buddy” and Izetta Shipe. Terry was a member of the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in Chesterfield County, where he served as Lay Leader. He fiercely loved his family and served The Lord each day by always putting others before himself.

Terry is predeceased by his best friend and wife of over 45 years, Sharon. He is survived by his two sons, Colin Shipe and wife, Lisa, Justin Shipe and wife, Ilana; grandchildren, Morgan, Ethan, Allison, Logan, and Eddie; nieces, Lisa Howerton, Rhonda Bennett, Stacy Thompson, and Kristi Kumsher; and nephew Kenneth Thompson Jr.

A memorial service will be held on April 10, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, 9227 River Road, Petersburg, VA with Reverend Patrick Pillow officiating.
