William Christopher Clarke, 26, of Chesterfield, Virginia, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 20, 2023. He was born on September 22, 1996, in Richmond, Virginia.
Christopher was a dedicated delivery driver for UPS for seven years. He was very athletic in his younger years, playing basketball, football, wrestling, and skateboarding. He was a passionate Philadelphia Eagles fan, loved Dr. Pepper, Law and Order, and SpongeBob, and enjoyed listening to a variety of different music.
Christopher is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ray Mattson. He is survived by his loving mother, Christine Elizabeth Elmore and husband, Mike; loving and devoted life partner of seven years, Scott H. Carter; brothers, Jonathan Graber, Samuel Clarke, Michael Elmore, and Jamie Elmore; favorite nephew, Kaiser Graber; grandfather, William S. Poole and wife, Judith; grandmother, Joyce Mattson; aunt, Mary Vanscyoc and husband, Jim; two cousins, Jimmy and Josh Vanscyoc; furry four-legged daughter, Chyna; and other extended family members and many friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at Jenkins Funeral Home Banquet Hall, 2003 Grayland Avenue, Richmond, Virginia 23220. Casual dress. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made to a mental health facility of your choosing. Arrangements are being handled by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834.
