Obituary

William “Ron” Crenshaw 86, of Colonial Heights, Va., passed away January 5, 2021. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Jean “Pud” Crenshaw; daughter Judy Poindexter (Mike); sons Jeff Crenshaw (Kimberly) and Scotty Crenshaw (Kathy); Grandchildren Cara, Eric, Kolby; sister Sue Boze and niece’s Patti Gerber and Cathy Bateman. Ron was a Registered Pharmacist and long-time owner of Colonial Heights Drug Store. He had many activities and interest in his lifetime. He enjoyed fishing and boating. He loved the Washington Redskins and his very good friend Robert “Petro” Petrucciani had decades of Monday Night Football together. He always had an interest in aviation so much, so he obtained his private pilot’s license and even became a co-owner of a plane with his good friends Jeff Sweeney and Dickie King. But his true passion was the game of golf. He had the proud moment of having a hole in one. He truly had a full and great life and many accomplishments throughout his lifetime. The family would like to thank Crater Community Hospice for all the care and kindness that they provided. Due to the Covid situation a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
